DB11 LEADS THE WAY IN MARCH AT ASTON MARTIN WORKS

1 March 2019, Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire: Aston Martin Works is preparing for a successful March of new sports car sales handovers, led by its first delivery of the highly desirable DB11.

The arrival of the ‘19’ registration plate will trigger the traditional March sales spike as eager buyers of the great British brand’s luxury sports cars take delivery of their new models.

The Newport Pagnell business – among the most prominent Aston Martin dealerships in the UK since it opened its impressive new car showroom in 2012 – is gearing up for one of its most hectic months of the year as buyers from across the UK collect their new cars.

Leading the charge from the Buckinghamshire showroom this March is the handover of a prized DB11 AMR sports grand tourer – the car that takes the legendary DB lineage to unprecedented heights – to a local customer.

The Aston Martin DB11 provided a pivotal moment for the British luxury carmaker when it was launched in 2016, and the 5.2-litre V12 Touchtronic version being delivered today (1 March) is a clear example of why the model’s appeal has endured. A top speed of 208 mph makes the DB11 AMR one of the world’s swiftest GT cars, while at its heart is a twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre V12 that now delivers 630 bhp and a 0-62 mph time of just 3.7 seconds.

Commenting on the prospect of a particularly busy month of new car business, Aston Martin Works President Paul Spires said: “March is, obviously, a hectic month for the UK motor industry as a whole but, despite the prevalence of personalized or private number plates among our customers, it also remains a peak in our new car sales year. We are, once again, set for a very positive few weeks thanks to brand’s exceptional new model line-up and attractive finance options that now allow more people than ever before access to ownership of these remarkable cars.”
