Welcome to the second edition of our revitalized customer communication: Works Torque. I very much hope you enjoyed the return of this much-loved title – the kind notes and positive comments I have received from recipients of issue one certainly seem to suggest you’re pleased to see it back.
Issue Two continues where we left of with more insights into the world of Works, from the ‘secret’ team that we call our ‘engine room’ here at Newport Pagnell, to a second look by Aston Martin Historian Steve Waddingham at the importance of the site to the marque’s 112-year history.
We also take a look at a new Bond-related model, while reviewing the contribution of the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation to Aston Martin’s glamorous celebration of 60 years of the film Goldfinger at London’s ultra-fashionable Burlington Arcade recently.
As before, do have a glance at the stories in this issue and, if you care to, let my team know via the dedicated email contact workstorque@astonmartin.com what you think, or perhaps more importantly what you might like to see in upcoming issues.
For now, best wishes and happy reading.
