ARCADE FIRES UP DB5 AND BOND ENTHUSIASTS

The Newport Pagnell-built DB5 has played another important role as one of the stars of the show when Aston Martin unveiled a unique Goldfinger-themed experience, the ‘House of Q by Aston Martin’, within London’s prestigious Burlington Arcade.

The immersive exhibit paid homage to the iconic relationship between Aston Martin and the James Bond franchise, a partnership that of course began with the debut of the DB5 in Goldfinger.

Visitors to the House of Q by Aston Martin embarked on a covert adventure starting at a disguised newsstand located at House 12-13. Accessed through a secret door, guests were transported into a subterranean speakeasy bar. This exclusive bar, serving Champagne Bollinger, was adorned with original technical drawings and parts from the DB5, along with sketches and diagrams from both Aston Martin and EON Productions archives.

The House of Q by Aston Martin hosted daily events, including design workshops led by Aston Martin’s Design and Engineering teams, while visitors could also explore the Configurator Lab, where they worked with design experts to configure their very own perfect Aston Martin.
