The 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine is coupled with a cutting-edge trio of electric motors which together produces an otherworldly total power output of 1,079PS and a top speed of 217mph from its AWD configuration. Two front electric motors facilitate Torque Vectoring for improved traction and agility, provide a Torque Fill between gear shifts to eliminate turbo lag, as well as providing drive in EV mode. Unique and class leading technologies within our bespoke electric motors increase electrical efficiencies to optimise speed and torque. These motors also operate the electric reverse function, saving weight by eliminating the need for a reverse gear.
A rear motor, integrated into the transmission, acts as a starter generator and supports the power delivery to provide Torque Fill, eliminating turbo lag. A more linear surge of acceleration. A faster flow of adrenaline. Completing the PHEV powertrain is Aston Martin’s new and bespoke Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), delivering precise performance while offering the visceral sensation of a manual gearbox. A lightweight 8-speed system. Bred for the track. Startling on the open road.
